The monitoring team members Prof. Dr. Yeşim YAMAN AKTAŞ, Prof. Dr. Erol EĞRİOĞLU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurullah ÇALIŞ, Dr. Hakan SİPAHİ, Lect. Şevkiye BABACAN and student representative Dilara HASAR, appointed by Giresun University Quality Commission and Accreditation, Academic Assessment and Quality Coordination Office, conducted an evaluation visit to our Vocational School of Health Services on Thursday, January 09, 2025. The visit was also attended by Prof. Dr. Mustafa ŞANAL, the Coordinator of Accreditation, Academic Assessment and Quality.

Within the scope of the visit program, our Unit Quality Representative Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Deniz CANDAN first gave a comprehensive presentation about the 2023 Unit Self-Assessment Report (USAR) and the USAR prepared for 2024. The program was attended by our Director Prof. Dr. Aytaç GÜDER, Vice Directors Dr. Enis TAŞCI and Dr. Taşkın ÖZKAN, School Secretary Fatma ÇOBANOĞLU, and Unit Quality Commission members. Academic and administrative staff meetings were held in accordance with the visit schedule.

The monitoring team's student representative Dilara HASAR met with students representing our programs for exchange of views. Additionally, the monitoring team conducted meetings with our external stakeholders and unit community advisors and presidents, received detailed information about our unit's activities, and examined the physical facilities of the unit on-site. During the visit, evaluations were made regarding quality processes, unit activities, and future period plans. Throughout the visit, the strengths and areas for improvement of our Vocational School were examined in detail. The Unit Monitoring Team assessment will serve as a significant reference to guide our program accreditation processes, while also contributing to our improvement efforts aligned with the strategic goals of our Vocational School.
