What is MEDEK?
MEDEK (Vocational Education Assessment and Accreditation Association) was established in 2021. In 2023, the association received accreditation authority from the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) for 83 Vocational School programs.
Establishment Purpose
MEDEK was established to evaluate vocational school programs according to specified standards, quality criteria, and performance metrics. The association conducts activities to contribute to qualified workforce development within the framework of Turkey's strategic development plans.
Mission
To contribute to improving the quality of education by providing information, external evaluation, and accreditation services for associate degree programs.
Vision
To become a leading organization that certifies quality by defining educational and research activities/administrative processes of associate degree programs according to national and international standards, and sharing results with relevant institutions and organizations.
