About the Department
The Department of Child Care and Youth Services aims to train qualified professionals who embrace the importance of child development and education, recognise the developmental characteristics of children aged 0-18, are knowledgeable about their habits and needs, and can take measures against the problems children may face. The programme within our department aims to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Academic Staff Distribution
Within the scope of the Framework Regulation on Applied Education in Higher Education, our students take theoretical and applied courses at school for 3 semesters and receive full-time vocational training at an institution for 1 semester. The workplace training semester is either the 3rd or the 4th semester (fall or spring). This model facilitates our students' adaptation to professional life and enables them to gain experience in real working environments.
