Our Vocational School aims to maximize our students' professional competencies by effectively utilizing practical training methods alongside theoretical education across all programs. Below is a summary of different teaching techniques implemented in our courses during the Fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year:
In the Physiotherapy program, practical training methods are employed following theoretical instruction in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Methods-I and Basic Measurement and Evaluation in Physiotherapy courses.
In the First and Emergency Aid program, ambulance equipment usage is demonstrated practically in Ambulance Service Training I course, while basic life support for infants, children, and adults is practiced on CPR models in the Resuscitation course. In Emergency Patient Care III course, childbirth and obstetric emergencies are taught using practical applications on models. As part of the Advanced Life Support Applications course, our students participate in scenario-based training at the provincial ambulance service training unit.
In the Child Development program, projects and model studies aligned with various approaches including Montessori, High Scope, Bank Street, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia have been carried out within the scope of Different Approaches in Preschool Education course.
In the Medical Laboratory Techniques program, following theoretical lectures, students conduct practical experiments in our school laboratory and perform reporting studies.
These practices aim to develop our students' professional skills and help them put their theoretical knowledge into practice.
