The 2026–2027 Accreditation Process Information Meeting organized by the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK) was held on February 15, 2026, in Trabzon, at the Mustafa Reşit Tarakçıoğlu Hall of the Atatürk Cultural Center at Karadeniz Technical University.

The meeting, organized to strengthen the work of our Vocational School of Health Services in quality assurance and accreditation processes, was attended by the Director of our School, Prof. Dr. Aytaç GÜDER, Deputy Directors Dr. Lecturer Enis TAŞCI and Lecturer Sibel TÖRE, Unit Quality Representative Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Deniz CANDAN, Unit Quality Member Lecturer Figen ÇİÇEK, and Member of our University's Accreditation, Academic Evaluation, and Quality Coordination Unit Lecturer Osman Serdal KARAPINAR.

During the meeting, comprehensive information was provided on MEDEK accreditation processes, program evaluation criteria, the self-evaluation report (SER) preparation process, and the use of the accreditation portal. In addition, important discussions were held on the effective implementation of quality assurance systems in the accreditation process and the development of a sustainable quality culture.

As the Vocational School of Health Services, we will continue to actively participate in such information and evaluation meetings with the aim of conducting our education and training activities in accordance with national quality standards, effectively maintaining the accreditation processes of our programs, and strengthening institutional quality assurance efforts.
