QUALITY PLAN

1. INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE
As Giresun University School of Health Services, our main objective is to continuously improve the quality of our education and training, ensure that our graduates become qualified individuals sought after in the sector, and train health technicians who can respond to social needs.
This quality plan has been created to determine, implement and continuously improve quality standards in all activities of our school.

Organization

Quality activities are carried out in cooperation with all programs and units under the coordination of the Quality Commission.

Process

Continuous development and improvement is ensured through the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle.

6. QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM STRATEGIES
  • Increasing awareness to include all stakeholders, including academic and administrative staff and students, in order to spread the culture of quality assurance
  • Expanding activities for program accreditation and setting new goals in this regard
  • Ensuring the PDCA cycle in education-training, research-development, social contribution and managerial/administrative processes
  • Measuring and monitoring the satisfaction of internal and external stakeholders, institutional belonging and social perception at certain periods to objectively evaluate institutional policies and make changes in these policies if necessary, reflecting the results to continuous improvement activities
  • Ensuring certification at international standards
  • Creating collaborative work schedules to ensure the university's rise in international rankings, conducting studies in a coordinated manner by relevant units and regularly monitoring their results
7. PDCA CYCLE APPLICATION IN THE SCOPE OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

PLAN (P)

  • Educational activities, course plans, strategic objectives and performance indicators are determined at this stage
  • Improvement areas are identified with data such as internal and external stakeholder surveys and graduate feedback

DO (D)

  • Teaching activities, program updates, career events and laboratory applications are implemented in line with the determined objectives
  • Academic calendar, internship programs and external stakeholder collaborations are implemented as planned

CHECK (C)

  • Processes are evaluated with feedback surveys (student, graduate, external stakeholder), faculty performance and graduation data
  • Analysis is made through quality committees and unit internal evaluation reports

ACT (A)

  • Measures are developed for areas found to be deficient or weak (curriculum revision, strengthening laboratory infrastructure, new course suggestions, etc.)
  • These measures are included in the next academic year planning and the cycle is completed
