The Elderly Care Program within the Health Care Services Department of Giresun University Health Services Vocational School will accept students for the first time in the 2025-2026 academic year. The program, approved by the Higher Education Council's meeting on May 28, 2025, aims to train qualified personnel to meet the care needs of our aging population.

The program is designed to train specialist healthcare personnel who can meet the physical, psychological and social needs of elderly individuals. Graduates will be able to work in elderly care centers, hospitals, home care services and rehabilitation centers.

We congratulate all academic and administrative staff, especially Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sevim Çiftçi YEGİN, who contributed to the opening of this important program.
