Giresun University Vocational School of Health Services
The Tele-Health Technician Programme, offered within Giresun University Vocational School of Health Services, was established to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in remote healthcare services and health informatics. The programme welcomed its first students in the 2025–2026 academic year.
The programme equips students with knowledge and practical skills in tele-health, teleconsultation, mobile health applications, wearable technologies, health information systems, and remote patient monitoring infrastructure. Students are also trained to uphold ethics, patient safety, data privacy, and relevant legal regulations.
To contribute to public health, the digitalisation of healthcare, and sustainable development by training health technicians who are proficient in digital health technologies, patient-centred, committed to ethical principles, innovative, analytical, and oriented toward teamwork.
