      About the Department

      The Department of Database, Network Design and Management operates under the Vocational School of Health Services at Giresun University and hosts the Tele-Health Technician Program. The department was established to meet the growing digitalization needs of the healthcare sector and has an innovative structure that brings together information technologies, data management, and remote healthcare services.

      The department aims to train well-equipped technicians in critical fields such as health information systems, remote patient monitoring infrastructures, mobile health applications, and tele-health platforms. Within the scope of the 3+1 Workplace-Based Vocational Training Model, students reinforce their theoretical knowledge with field experience and have internship opportunities at healthcare institutions across the country.
