      About the Department

      The Database, Network Design and Management Department operates within the Giresun University Vocational School of Health Services and is home to the Tele-Health Technician Programme. The department was established to meet the growing digitalisation demands of the healthcare sector, bringing together information technologies, data management, and remote health services in an innovative academic structure.

      The department aims to train well-equipped technicians in critical fields such as health informatics systems, remote patient monitoring infrastructure, mobile health applications, and tele-health platforms. Through the 3+1 Work-Based Learning Model, students consolidate their theoretical knowledge with field experience, gaining internship opportunities at healthcare institutions nationwide.
