Announcement on Lateral Transfers for the Autumn Term of the 2026–2027 Academic Year Central Allocation (Supplementary Article 1)

      2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR FALL SEMESTER CENTRAL PLACEMENT (ADDITIONAL ARTICLE-1) HORIZONTAL TRANSFER REQUIREMENTS


       “Pursuant to the Additional Article 1 of the Regulation on Amending the Regulation on Transfer between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor and Credit Transfer Between Institutions in Higher Education Institutions and the letter of the Council of Higher Education dated 02.06.2017 and numbered 37697; 

      Applications will be received online between August 01-15, 2026. (The online application portal will be active during the application dates.) 
      *Applications by mail/post will not be accepted.

       Documents Required for Application
      1. Student certificate
      2. ÖSYM exam result document (internet printout)
      3- ÖSYM placement document (internet printout)
      4. A document proving that no previous horizontal transfer has been made using the central placement score. (Students whose student certificate states their registration type as “ÖSYS” do not need to upload this document.)
      * The originals of the documents uploaded to the system during the application will be requested during final registration. 
                     
      Note:
      1- Applications will be received online between August 01-15, 2026. (The online application portal will be active during the application calendar.)
      *Applications by mail/post will not be accepted.
       2-Students must meet the placement ranking threshold applied by ÖSYM for their respective year of enrollment. (e.g., Faculty of Medicine: 50,000 threshold.)
       Application results will be announced on the **Vocational School Web Pages** on September 01, 2026. Registrations for eligible candidates will take place on the dates and at the location specified below:
       
      1.Final Registration Dates (Main List)       :September 02 - 07, 2026
      2.Final Registration Dates (Waiting List)   :September 08 - 10, 2026
      (*For programs with waiting lists, admissions will be processed based on the waiting list order in place of candidates who failed to register from the main list.)

      Registrations will be processed at the Vocational Schools.

      1. Horizontal transfer registration form CLICK HERE
      2.Photocopy of National ID Card / Passport
      3.Photograph (1 Piece)
      4-Official Transcript
      5-Course Syllabus / Course Descriptions
      6.Document proving there is "No Obstacle to Horizontal Transfer" pursuant to YÖK's letter numbered E.50957
      7. The originals of the documents requested in the application (Can be physically signed, e-signed, e-Devlet printouts, or documents downloaded from official university websites)
