As part of Autism Awareness Month in April, our Physiotherapy Society, led by Dr Habibe DURDU, paid a meaningful visit to the Ali Haydar Emiroğlu Special Education Application School (Primary Level).

The main theme of the visit was ‘Sensory Integration Therapy in Autism’. As part of this, fun and supportive activities based on sensory integration were carried out with the pupils, whilst Dr Habibe DURDU also delivered an informative session for the families.

The session covered the fundamental principles of sensory integration therapy and practical applications aimed at facilitating the daily lives of individuals with autism. The information shared was received with great interest by both families and staff members.
