Hands-On First Aid Training from First and Emergency Aid Students to Primary School Students

On May 14, 2026, first aid training was provided to the students of 19 Eylül Primary School by the students of the First and Emergency Aid Program, under the leadership of our Vocational School's First and Emergency Aid Program faculty members Prof. Dr. Aytaç GÜDER and Lecturer Figen ÇİÇEK[cite: 21, 22]. Organized with the aim of instilling first aid awareness from an early age, the training session was met with great enthusiasm and interest from the children[cite: 23].

Within the scope of the training, basic first aid education was delivered using a language carefully tailored to the students' age levels[cite: 24]. Topics such as the vital importance of staying calm during emergencies, how to call the 112 Emergency Call Center correctly, and the proper ways to respond to everyday accidents—including nosebleeds, minor injuries, respiratory tract obstructions, burns, and falls—were thoroughly explained[cite: 25].
