Our Oath-Taking Ceremony Was Held
The Oath-Taking Ceremony organized for the graduating students of our Vocational School of Health Services was held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the foyer area of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences due to adverse weather conditions.
Attending the ceremony in their internship uniforms, our graduating students read the Professional Oath of the Vocational School of Health Services together, pledging the responsibilities they undertake as they begin their professional careers.
Speaking at the ceremony, our School Director Prof. Dr. Aytaç GÜDER congratulated the graduating students, expressed pride in the achievements of health professionals raised with a sense of service to society, and wished them success in their professional lives.
The ceremony, held with the participation of our academic staff, the families of our graduating students, and our stakeholders, concluded with wishes of success conveyed to our new graduates. We congratulate all our graduates and wish them success in their professional careers.
PROFESSIONAL OATH OF THE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF HEALTH SERVICES
Today, as I assume with great honor the responsibility of serving human life, health, and societal values;
I swear that I will protect human dignity, rights, and privacy under all circumstances,
That I will practice my profession with commitment to ethical principles, honesty, and a sense of responsibility,
That I will use the knowledge and skills I have acquired for the benefit of humanity,
That I will treat the individuals I serve with understanding, respect, and fairness,
That I will continuously improve myself by following scientific developments,
That I will work with my colleagues in solidarity, cooperation, and mutual respect,
That I will contribute to public health, the quality of human life, and the dignity of my profession,
That I will fulfill my duties with attention, care, and conscientious responsibility,
And that I will always represent this sacred duty with pride, merit, and dedication;
Upon my honor, integrity, and conscience, I take this oath.
