Prof. Dr. Serpil DEMİRCİ Appointed as a COST Action Working Group Member

Prof. Dr. Serpil DEMİRCİ, a faculty member of the Anaesthesia Programme at our Vocational School of Health Services, has been appointed as a Working Group Member of the COST Action CA24117, “Innate Lymphoid Cells – The European Quest for Innovative Cancer Prognosis and Immunotherapy”, supported under the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) Programme.

The Action aims to standardise the phenotypic identification of innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) as well as their isolation and propagation protocols, and to strengthen international research collaboration on the role of these cells in cancer prognosis and immunotherapy. Our colleague will contribute to Working Group 1 (Standardization of ILC phenotypic identification) and Working Group 2 (Standardization of ILC isolation and propagation protocols).
