A seminar was given to the students of the Anesthesia Program and the First and Emergency Aid Program of the Vocational School of Health Services, in the Ali Kuşçu Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Engineering, by Specialist Dr. Dilek YENİAY, Anesthesiology and Reanimation physician at Giresun Maternity and Children's Training and Research Hospital, on airway management in the emergency department, intensive care unit and operating theatre, the assessment and management of the difficult airway, the importance of airway management, and the necessity of securing airway patency, which is the first step in all treatment regimens. The Director of our Vocational School Prof. Dr. Aytaç GÜDER, our Assistant Directors and our teaching staff also attended the seminar. After the seminar, the theoretical topics covered were demonstrated in practice on manikins, with the participation of our students. We thank Specialist Dr. Dilek YENİAY for the valuable contributions and fluent presentation, our esteemed faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serpil DEMİRCİ for organising the event, and our dear students for their participation.
