EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDER MEETING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MEDICAL DATA PROCESSING PROGRAM

Within the scope of the newly established Medical Data Processing Program at our Vocational School, an External Stakeholder Meeting was held to develop the program's educational processes in line with the needs of the sector and application areas.

At the meeting held on 24 September 2026, the program's mission and vision, program outcomes, challenges encountered in professional practices, and suggestions for improvement were discussed. The opinions and suggestions of external stakeholders were obtained through a survey and verbal exchange of views and incorporated into the program development process.

The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Gökhan Alpaslan, Head of the Department of Statistics. The meeting was attended by the Information Technology Unit Supervisor of Giresun Women's, Maternity and Children's Diseases Hospital, the Director of Şebinkarahisar Vocational School of Health Services, and a lecturer working in the Medical Data Processing Program at Isparta Süleyman Demirel University.
