Following the acceptance of the preliminary application of the Physiotherapy Programme in the 1st Accreditation Period of 2026, the accreditation preliminary application of the Child Development Programme has also been accepted within the scope of the 2026 2nd Accreditation Period conducted by the Association for Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation (MEDEK).
With this significant development, our Vocational School of Health Services has taken another major step toward joining higher education institutions that decisively maintain quality assurance activities on a programme basis and promote accreditation culture.
The MEDEK accreditation process is a comprehensive quality assurance system aimed at evaluating educational and instructional activities in accordance with national quality standards, ensuring continuous improvement, and enhancing programme outcomes. Within this framework, our Child Development Programme continues its self-evaluation, continuous improvement, and institutional development efforts with determination to further enhance its educational quality.
Following the acceptance of the preliminary application, our programme will proceed with the accreditation process according to the schedule set by MEDEK. In this context, field evaluation visits are scheduled to take place between February 01 and May 31, 2027, and the final accreditation decisions are planned to be announced on May 31, 2027.
As the Vocational School of Health Services, we steadfastly continue our quality assurance efforts toward our goal of delivering education to our students at national quality standards. We extend our sincere thanks to all our academic and administrative staff, students, and contributing stakeholders who played a part in this process.
By continuously improving our understanding of quality education, we will keep raising the qualified health professionals of the future.
